Seven Things You Didn't Know About Lucille Ball's Real Children

Their parents were sitcom legends, but Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr. -- the children of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz -- had their time in the limelight too. Check out seven things you didn't know about the sister and brother pair below and learn more about your favorite TV shows on "Best in TV" TONIGHT at 9 p.m ET.

'Here's Lucy'

Both Arnaz children appeared on the sitcom, "Here's Lucy," starring Lucille Ball, which ran from 1968 to 1974.

Playing Dad

Desi Arnaz Jr. played his father in the 1992 film, "The Mambo Kings."

Home Movies

Lucie Arnaz won several awards, including an Emmy, for her 2009 film based on her childhood home movies called "Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie"

On the Charts

Desi Jr. played the drums in a band with Dean Martin's son. "Dino, Desi and Billy" had two hit singles in 1965.

Lucie by the Numbers

Lucie has starred or appeared in three Broadway shows, four national tours, seven feature films, three television series, six TV movies, and nearly 25 years as a headliner with her own live concerts.

Ballet, Love and Little Ricky

Desi Jr. married a former ballet dancer who had roomed with another dancer. That roommate later married Keith Thibodeaux, who played Little Ricky on the original "I Love Lucy" show.

Tributes to Desi

In 2010, Lucie recorded the album "Latin Roots." It was a celebration of her musical heritage and a love note, she says, to her father. That same year she wrote, produced and co-starred, along with her brother, Desi, in "Babalu," a tribute to the music of Desi Arnaz and his orchestra.
