— -- AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd was arrested again just days after he was sentenced to eight months of home detention for pleading guilty to threatening to kill a man who formerly worked for him.

Rudd, 69, was arrested at his home on New Zealand's North Island on Saturday, the New Zealand Herald reported. His attorney, Craig Tuck, confirmed he had been arrested and said he would appear in court Monday.

Police refused to comment on the nature of his arrest.

Rudd was charged last November with threatening to kill and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. He was sentenced to home detention Thursday.

Rudd had faced seven years in prison for the charge of threatening to kill.

Prosecutors had originally plan to charge Rudd for murder-for-hire but dropped it due to lack of evidence.

AC/DC is currently on its "Rock or Bust" tour that will hit North America this August. Chris Slade has replaced Rudd on the tour.

A representative for AC/DC declined comment on Rudd's arrest.
