Adele Says She Dedicated Her Concert to Brangelina's Break Up As a 'Joke'
The singer clarified, "I don't care if they're broken up."
— -- At her concert at New York's Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night, Adele dedicated her performance to the recently split Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, saying that it "feels like the end of an era." It turns out she was just joking.
Adele addressed the Brangelina breakup again during her concert at the same New York City venue on Thursday night, making her true feelings very clear.
"I would like to say I think it's a bit sick you're reporting on an absolute joke. I don't care if they've broken up. I couldn't give a f******* s***," she said, as the audience laughed and applauded.
"I don't care, I don't know them," she added.
To emphasize how little she cares, the British singer scoffed, "It's ridiculous, what's going on in the world, and that's front-page news."
That should clear up any confusion about how Adele really feels about the superstar ex-couple.
Adele will perform three more times at Madison Square Garden -- on Friday, Sunday and Monday -- before continuing her North American tour with a series of dates in Montreal and Toronto.
