Alison Brie on ‘How to Be Single,’ ‘Mad Men Finale’
Alison Brie plays a husband-hunting woman in “How to Be Single.”
— -- In “How to Be Single,” actress Alison Brie plays a driven New York City woman who is dating with the sole focus of finding a husband quickly.
The film co-stars Rebel Wilson, Dakota Johnson and Leslie Mann. It opened in theaters on Friday.
Brie chatted with ABC News’ Sara Haines about the role. In the film, the bartender, played by Anders Holm, is Brie’s character’s wingman.
Haines asked Brie who her real-life wingman would be.
“Rebel,” Brie said, laughing as she dished about her co-star. “She's great. I feel like, you know, she's so funny. She really keeps the party going but she knows when to cut outta there, leave you alone with the guy. She'd be a great wingman.”
Brie, who is engaged to actor Dave Franco, may be best-known to audiences as Trudy Campbell from “Mad Men” or Annie Edison from “Community.”
Haines asked Brie about the “Mad Men” series finale, in which Trudy Campbell and her husband, Pete Campbell, embark on a new life together.
“Do you think they live happily ever after?” Haines asked.
“Absolutely,” Brie said.
