'Avengers: Age of Ultron': The Shocking Death No One Saw Coming
No one saw this coming! SPOILERS!!!
— -- With "Avengers: Age of Ultron" only weeks away, more plot points are starting to pop up in interviews and online.
For instance, director Joss Whedon and others spoke to Entertainment Weekly about a new character, the Vision.
Paul Bettany will play the character created by super villain Ultron. But Bettany had played the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S., the voice inside Iron Man's suit and the artificial intelligence that helped Tony Stark create his suit since the very first "Iron Man."
So, what does this mean for J.A.R.V.I.S.?
Big Spoilers Ahead!
You guessed it: Apparently, he has to die to be reborn as the Vision.
In the movie, Ultron appears and says something about “killing the other guy" to be free. The other guy he is talking about is J.A.R.V.I.S., according to EW.
You see, J.A.R.V.I.S. was keeping Ultron under wraps and in the control of Stark. So, Ultron killed the program and Stark lost his buddy. In fact, EW reports, when Stark calls on J.A.R.V.I.S. in the film, the Avengers see "violence that looks like a digital massacre." In other words, Ultron murdered Stark's friend and program.
Will Bettany be a villain, at first, then join the team -- or will he stay loyal to his creator, Ultron? That shall be revealed on May 1, when "Avengers" hits theaters.
