'Bachelor' Star Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops Split

— -- Alas, former "Bachelor" contestant Britt Nilsson didn't find love with Brady Toops after all.

Nilsson and Toops, who met while she was vying to be this season's "Bachelorette" star, broke up two months ago, they told People.

"Everything on paper was perfect," Nilsson said. "But we didn't have that connection I was looking for. That was a hard conclusion."

As documented by "Bachelorette" cameras, Toops left the show after Kaitlyn Bristowe was selected to be this season's star to pursue a relationship with Nilsson, 27. He stayed in L.A., where she lives, with her for two weeks.

"At the beginning, I was like, 'This is it. This is my guy," she recalled. "He checked off everything on my checklist."

However, after a trip to his hometown of Nashville, things didn't seem so perfect.

"He's more of an introvert and I'm an extrovert," she explains. "I'm just more loud and outgoing and I'm always on the go. Brady's a little bit more meditative. We weren't fed by the same things."

Added Toops, 33: "What I felt for Britt was true and deep. I'm sad it didn't work out."
