'Bachelor' Star Sean Lowe Says Goodbye to Beloved Dog

— -- Former "Bachelor" star Sean Lowe had to say goodbye to his beloved dog Lola.

Lowe posted a long note on Instagram yesterday, sharing a sweet throwback picture from when his dog was healthy at the beach.

"Today we said goodbye to the best dog there ever was. Easily one of the toughest 'grown up decisions' we've ever had to make. For the past couple of months I've been carrying her around the house and helping her use the bathroom because she had lost the ability to walk and stand due to a genetic disease," he wrote.

Lowe, 32, added that he and his wife Catherine waited to put his dog to sleep because they wanted her to meet their first baby, a baby boy named Samuel Thomas.

"She did and we're so thankful for that. Sucks for us now and we're both crying like babies but we know we made the right choice for her. We'll see you when we get there sweet Lola," he added in the post.

Catherine also posted a picture with the caption, "Goodnight Sweet Lola Girl. We're gonna miss you every second."
