Bill Murray Leads Cubs Fans in Singing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' Daffy-Duck Style
The star and die-hard Chicago Cubs fan led crowd in the 7th-inning song.
— -- Die-hard Chicago Cubs fan Bill Murray got the role of a lifetime when he was tapped to lead baseball fans inside Wrigley Field in singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" Friday.
Murray, 66, got on the microphone during Game 3's seventh inning stretch to sing his rendition of the classic baseball song.
Before the Chicago native began the tune, he told the crowd he'd be singing in the style of Daffy Duck, slobbering some notes.
He ended the song by telling the crowd, "Let's get some runs, suckers!"
Sadly, the Cubs lost to the Cleveland Indians, 1-0. The Indians now lead the series by 2-1.
Friday night was special for Wrigley Field as it was the first time the Chicago ballpark hosted a World Series game in 71 years.
