— -- Bobby Brown took the stage over the weekend for the first time since his daughter Bobbi Kristina's hospitalization more than two months ago.

While at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday night, he thanks fans for supporting him through "rough times."

First, he said how good it felt to be among his fans and doing what he loves.

The daughter of late singer and entertainer Whitney Houston was found Jan. 31, 2015, unresponsive in a bathtub by her husband and a friend and taken to an Atlanta-area hospital. The incident remains under investigation.

"I wanna thank all of y'all for coming out tonight, for supporting me and my family," he said, in a video posted by TMZ. "Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don't know what the hell I'm going through right now, but I'm giving it to God and letting him deal with it."

Backstage after the show, he said he's "always" happy to perform.

Bobbi Kristina, 22, has been in multiple hospitals since the end of January after her partner Nick Gordon found her unresponsive in her Georgia home.

Brown was moved to rehabilitation facility at the end of March, where she remains.
