— -- Brad Pitt may be an iconic actor, but nothing comes before his and wife Angelina Jolie's six kids - Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, Knox, 6, and Vivienne, 6.

“I feel like the richest man alive since I've become a father," he told Psychologies for its November issue of positive living bible. "I worry about them all the time. That's the emotional bond and responsibility that sweeps over you when you have a family to look after. You see past yourself and become more generous and giving, and wanting only the best for your family."

In fact, Pitt, 50, told the magazine that "I care about them more than I care about myself, which I think is the real definition of love."

The children just took part in Pitt and Jolie's wedding in France this past August. The couple made sure to involve the children, Jolie even incorporating their art into her wedding dress.

Pitt talked more with the magazine about why he cherishes his family so dearly.

“You learn to value the basic beauty of family, of watching your children grow and evolve," he said. "It's the most beautiful thing you can experience. Being a father has changed me on so many levels and on so many levels and made me more generous and alive."

He continued, "I see my children as an essential part of my life, and it means so much to be able to educate them and help them make their way in the world as they grow up.”
