— -- Eliza Dushku wrote on Instagram that she had a "long werkend" (sic) and for good reason.

While in town for Rhode Island Comic Con, the former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star, 33, tweeted on Saturday that she was "just robbed in front of my hotel."

Though the rough night would have a happy ending and two suspects were apprehended, the "Bring It On" actress added that the thieves were staying in her hotel and had taken her Louis Vuitton handbag as she was checking in.

"Cameras caught everything: hotel/police/security weren't able to do anything," she added right after incident happened. "Really upset. It's been a long night."

Dushku added that the two men were wearing Halloween costumes. She took to Twitter to get help and source the masses, as well as ask the hotel for help.

"One of the guys wore a GOLD HEAD TO TOE "Ceasar" outfit. Anyone in RI, ring a bell.? Help," she added. "Please, @OmniHotels, these 2 men are guests here in the building & on your cameras robbing me. Help me find them & apprehend."

She continued, adding that actress Sharon Osbourne had given her the bag: "It's been around the world w me."

She tweeted once again to the Omni Providence Hotel, writing "They're here. In hotel. Why I can't sleep. Possibly just right down the hall. Distressing. I want them found. Release pics/videos @OmniHotels."

In the end, Dushku's items were returned and two men were taken into custody.

"Update:men found in hotel, w/my luggage, apprehended & spending wknd in jail until+. U guys helped this happen. I am VERY grateful. C u soon," she wrote.

The Omni Providence Hotel said it can't release information about any guests and a request for comment from Dushku's rep was not immediately returned to ABC. Providence police did not immediately return a call to ABC News.
