Cranberries Singer Dolores O'Riordan Arrested

The singer allegedly had an altercation with a flight attendant on a plane.

— -- Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan was arrested this morning for allegedly fighting on an airplane.

The singer, 43, allegedly got into a physical altercation with a flight attendant on a plane to Shannon, Ireland, Irish police told ABC News.

O'Riordan was on a plane from JFK airport in New York City to Ireland when she got into a fight with a staff member of Aer Lingus, according to authorities. As a result, police were called to meet the aircraft in Shannon, and during the arrest, a male member of the police force was also allegedly assaulted, police said.

Irish police confirmed that both the flight attendant and O'Riordan were hospitalized for their injuries.

A rep for O'Riordan has not yet responded to a request for comment.
