— -- The newest trailer for "Gone Girl" doesn't beat around the bush and gets right to the question, "Did Ben Affleck's character Nick Dunne kill his wife?"

We then see a montage of clips of Dunne saying that he had nothing to do with his wife's disappearance and even voice-overs from his wife Amy herself, played by Rosamund Pike.

"I will practice believing my husband loves me, but I could be wrong," Pike says. "I finally realized I am frightened of my own husband."

There's also a really creepy Neil Patrick Harris, who plays a former boyfriend of Amy's. Tyler Perry also takes on the challenge of playing Dunne's high-priced attorney.

The trailer culminates with Pike's character saying, "This man of mine may kill me."

"Gone Girl" hits theaters on Oct. 3.
