— -- David Spade is back as Joe Dirt and to celebrate the first day of shooting the sequel to his hit 2001 movie, the actor posted an amazing picture in costume -- mullet and all!

"Day 1. Lets get this shit started! #imjoedirt #whatscrappenin," he wrote.

Spade, 50, hasn't changed a bit in 13 years.

As you know, the original "Joe Dirt" featured Spade and Kid Rock, as Dirt searched for his long lost parents, only to find they were less than he expected. The mullet man did find love in the process by way of Brittany Daniel.

The sequel was announced last week and according to Deadline, "Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser" will be released in 2015 on a digital site called Crackle.
