Drake Bell, the former star of Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh," was arrested early Monday morning for suspicion of DUI in Glendale, Calif.
The 29-year-old actor was stopped at 2:18 a.m. local time after allegedly speeding and driving erratically in his lane, Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot told ABC News.
Bell also allegedly failed a sobriety test administered by police, Lightfoot said.
After starring in "Drake & Josh" from 2004 to 2007, Bell has taken on roles like Spider-Man in the animated TV series "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" and "Ultimate Spider-Man." The California native has also released three studio albums since 2005, including "Ready, Steady, Go!" last year.
At the end of 2005, Bell was involved in a serious car crash in Los Angeles, one that left him with injuries to his neck and jaw, according to People magazine. Bell needed surgery as he recovered from that accident.
Bell's court date is not set yet and he was released later on Monday.
