Aug. 15, 2012— -- intro: Evelyn Lozada's 41-day marriage to former Miami Dolphin's receiver Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson may have come to an end, but she has gained entrance into the elite club of famous people whose "I do's" quickly turned into "I don'ts."

Lozada filed for divorce following an incident in which her football playing exallegedly head-butted the VH1 reality-TV star.

"Given the recent events that have taken place, Evelyn has decided to file for divorce and move on with her life," Lozada's lawyer, Michael B. Gilden, told "The Insider" in a statement Tuesday.

The reality-TV star was treated at a hospital for lacerations to her head after an argument between the two Saturday night allegedly ended with Johnson, 34, ramming Lozada with his head. He was later arrested on domestic battery charges.

Within 24 hours of his arrest, the Dolphins terminated the six-time Pro Bowl receiver's contract. VH1 shelved the upcoming reality-television program starring the couple, "Ev & Ocho." The show was set to debut Sept. 3.

Johnson spent the night in Broward County Jail, according to jail records, and bond was set at $2,500. A judge Monday ordered that the couple have no contact, according to WPLG, ABC's Miami affiliate.

Johnson, a frequent tweeter, Tuesday broke his silence regarding the situation with a post on his official website, OCNN.

"I am going to let the legal process run its course. I wish Evelyn nothing but the best, I have no negative words to say about her, the only thing I can say is I love her very much," said Johnson.

quicklist: 11title: Rudolph Valentino and Jean Ackertext: Think now-you-see-'em, now-you-don't marriages are an invention of today's celebrity culture? Think again. The "Roarin' 20s" produced one of the most memorable quickie marriages of all time between "Latin Lover" Rudolph Valentino and actress Jean Acker. Their brief courtship culminated in marriage on Nov. 6, 1919, but Acker quickly had a change of heart and locked Valentino out of their hotel suite on their wedding night. Their union was reportedly never consummated and officially ended in 1921.

But like Kardashian has pledged to do with Humphries, Acker remained friends with Valentino until the end. A century from now, perhaps another star of some sort will stumble on Kardashian's 72-day-marriage via the future equivalent of Wikipedia and say, "Hey, why don't I do that?" media: 14851791
