What to Expect From 'Dr. Phil's' Interview With Kim Richards
"Big revelations came out of this conversation," he said.
— -- "Dr. Phil" host Phil McGraw has a highly-anticipated interview with "Real Housewives" star Kim Richards set to air later today -- and McGraw spoke to ABC News' Rebecca Jarvis on "Real Biz" to tease what viewers can expect.
Richards, 50, was arrested earlier this month and charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer, according to police.
"She wanted to tell her side of the story," McGraw told ABC News. "We sat down and talked about it, and we had a very candid conversation about it. And some very ... big revelations came out of this conversation."
He continued, "I think that people are gonna see that even though this is someone who’s on a reality show, it’s a very real, human being, and I think there’s a lot going on in her life that people don’t realize. I think she is going to tell us exactly what happened that night, I think she’s going to tell us why it happened."
McGraw called himself the "incurable optimist" and added, "I think she certainly can help herself."
