— -- It seems "Star Wars" mastermind George Lucas won't have much influence over "Star Wars: Episode 7."
The filmmaker behind the franchise explained that he made suggestions for the film, but they weren't used.
"They made up their own," he told CinemaBlend. "So it's not the ones that I originally wrote [in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens']."
Lucas sold Lucasfilm, the production company responsible for the "Star Wars" films to Disney in 2012.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens," directed by J.J. Abrams, will hit theaters December 18.
Disney is also the parent company of ABC News.
