— -- News of Glenn Frey's death at 67 hit the music world hard yesterday. The Eagles guitarist and writer behind hits like "Hotel California" succumbed to complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia.
Don Henley, Frey's bandmate and co-founder of The Eagles, was one of the first to comment. "We are all in a state of shock, disbelief and profound sorrow. I’m not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever," he said.
