Inside Bobbi Kristina's Relationship With Her Mom Whitney Houston

— -- Bobbi Kristina Brown's close relationship with her legendary mother Whitney Houston was well known.
From the time she was a little girl, Houston would take Brown on tour, even pulling her up on stage to sing along with her.
Later Brown would make appearances with Houston on her famous father's reality show, "Being Bobby Brown," and accompany her mom on the red carpet to events such as the premiere of "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement."
But Brown was more than just close to her mother. She became her caretaker as the six-time Grammy winner struggled with addiction.
"[Bobbi Kristina] was her friend, confidante, and her protector," a family member told the Daily Beast in 2012. "Bobbi Kristina ... loved her so much and never gave up on her."
After Houston divorced Bobby Brown in 2007 and entered rehab, she seemed to be making up for lost time with her daughter, who, like Houston, was an aspiring singer and actress -- apparently with her own impressive voice.
Mother and daughter had begun working together on songs in the recording studio, when Houston was found dead in a bathtub in a Los Angeles hotel room on the eve of the 2012 Grammy Awards.
Nearly three years later, Brown, then 21, was found unresponsive in a bathtub of her Roswell, Georgia, home and rushed to the hospital. Eventually, she was moved to a rehab facility, and in April, her maternal grandmother Cissy Houston said she had "irreversible brain damage."
"While she is no longer in a medically-induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive," Houston said.
Brown's aunt, Pat Houston, announced that the 22-year-old was moved to hospice on June 24. She died just over a month later, on July 26, the Houston family said in a statement.
As her loved ones try to make sense of the family tragedy, it seems that Brown hadn't been the same since the death of her mother.
She had been vocal about the love and loss of her mother both in interviews and on Twitter. Here are some of her most memorable quotes about her famous mom:
"She supports me, she loves me, she gives me good mommy hugs." -- "Access Hollywood" in 2011.
"Watching #Casino with mommy (: I love being with her. All we do is laugh and love together, all the time. Couldn't be more blessed 2haveher!" Tweet, August 2011
"I can hear her voice and her spirit talking to me telling me, keep moving, baby. I can always feel her with me. She humbles me. I remember what she told me, I remember what she taught me. ... She was a sister, a comforter. The spirit that she had -- no matter where she was ... she touched everyone." -- March 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey
"We are going to do the singing thing, the acting thing, the dancing thing. It's a lot of pressure, but she prepared me for it." -- March 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey
"I am my mothers child! Have you ever heard of a #fastmetabolism ? Damn, lol, it's incredible how the world will judge you 4ANY&EVERYthing" -- Tweet in March 2014, after she came under scrutiny for her super-skinny physique.
