title: Lindsay Lohantext: After Lindsay Lohan, 27, made a name for herself at age 11 in "The Parent Trap," things were looking good for the young actress, who later had a smash hit with the movie "Mean Girls" in 2004.
But in 2007, things began to unravel as she was cited for multiple DUIs and made visits to rehab. That same year, Lohan's "Georgia Rule" co-star, Jane Fonda, told the Chicago Sun-Times about how difficult it was to work with her, saying, "Basically, she's a nice girl, but she was late a few times and I yelled at her. One day I had had enough and went to her makeup trailer and said, 'Come on, Lindsay! Everybody's waiting for you!' And I just turned on my heel and walked out."
Her troubles continued as she missed a mandatory court hearing in 2010 while partying in Cannes, France, only to be taken back into custody for violating parole. The drama continued into 2011, as she was in and out of court, once allegedly for stealing a necklace from a jewelry store. She was finally received a 120-day sentence, which she served at home. She violated probation again in October 2011 and was placed under arrest again. Finally, in late 2012, she was charged with giving false information to a police officer as part of an earlier car crash. She pleaded "not guilty" and was ordered to do 90 days in rehab. She was released at the end of July 2013.
Since her release, Lohan has appeared on "Chelsea Lately," and "Oprah Winfrey's Next Chapter," and celebrated her birthday at home with family members.

In 2008, she starred alongside her mother, Dina Lohan, in the reality TV show "Living Lohan." That same year, People magazine reported Ali Lohan was being bullied by other girls at school.
In 2011, she signed a modeling contract with NEXT Models, but then began to debut a skinnier look. The media also noted that her face seemed to look a little different, prompting speculation that she had plastic surgery.
"I'm 17 years old. That's not legal! I would need my mother's signature, and do you think my mom would sign off on that?" she asked The New York Post's Page Six.

text: The patriarch of the Lohan family, Michael Lohan, 53, was married to Dina Lohan for 22 years before divorcing her in 2007. A year later, it was discovered that Lohan fathered a daughter while he was separated from Dina Lohan in 1995. During his appearance on "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," Lohan said his alcohol addiction began in 1982 and that his drinking often was followed by drug use.
Lohan's legal issues have been many. He served three years in prison from 1990 to 1993 for insider trading and served another year in 1997 for violating probation. In 2004, he was charged with both attempted assault on Dina Lohan's brother, Matt Sullivan, and DUI. For those and other arrests, he was sent to prison for two and half years and released in 2007.
In 2011, Lohan's then girlfriend, Kate Major, put out a restraining order against him that was lifted in late 2012. The two had a child in 2013.

title: Dina Lohantext: On Thursday, Dina Lohan, 50, was arrested and charged with DWI after her breath test revealed she had a blood alcohol level at .20, more than twice the legal limit, police said. The New York State Police observed Dina Lohan at around 11 p.m. driving on Long Island at "a speed of 77 mph in a 55 mph zone," according to a police news release. Lohan will be back in court later in September.
On her DWI, Michael Lohan told Extra TV on Friday, "When people keep doing the same thing over and over again, sooner or later it catches up to you. But you know what? Sad as it is, it can work out for her benefit like it did for me, like it did for Lindsay. ... I hope it works out for the best. She's the mother of my kids."
This is not the first time Lindsay Lohan's mother was in the news where police were involved. In October 2012, 911 had to be called after a verbal argument between Dina and Lindsay Lohan at their Long Island home. Nassau County Police conducted an investigation, but no arrests were made.
Aside from brushes with the law, Dina Lohan was criticized multiple times in the press in the mid-2000s for being seen out with Lindsay late into the night.
"I am a single mom of four children, and I devote my life to my children," she told People magazine in 2009.
