Jennifer Lopez is back on the market.
The singer and her boyfriend of more than two years, Casper Smart, split nearly two months ago, ABC News confirmed.
Lopez, 44, began dating the back-up dancer, 27, in 2011, shortly after her split from ex-husband Marc Anthony. However, Lopez said earlier this year that she didn't necessarily think that she and Smart were headed for marriage.
"In the past, love for me has always meant forever, and sure, you still nurse some of those fantasies, but I don't try to force it anymore," she explained. "I hung on to my fairytale ideals for a long time. But where I am now, what I've been through, there are no rules. There are just lots of ways it can turn out."
This relationship simply ran its course, it seems. Though reports had been circulating that Smart had been texting provocative photos to people other than Lopez, a source said that was not the cause of the breakup.
"Any texting or online activity [of Smart's] was done as a single guy," a source told ABC News. "They are friendly."
Lately, she's seemed focused on her career. Earlier this week, the "American Idol" judge opened up about her new album, "A.K.A.," which will be released on June 17, and her new, healthy lifestyle. A few days later, she hung out with Khloe Kardashian and French Montana after her show in the New York City.
