— -- J.K. Rowling dropped a "Harry Potter" sized bomb when she announced a new play coming to London next year called "Cursed Child."
"It will tell a new story, which is the result of a collaboration between writer Jack Thorne, director John Tiffany and myself. #CursedChild," she tweeted on Thursday.
She added, "I don't want to say too much more, because I don't want to spoil what I know will be a real treat for fans. #CursedChild."
But the "Harry Potter" scribe did say more and revealed "it is not a prequel!"
She also answered the question on why this isn't a book.
