Joey Feek Marks Daughter's Latest Milestone

— -- Thursday was a special one in the Feek household.

Joey and Rory Feek's daughter, Indiana, celebrated her 22-month birthday.

"...birthday bed-time kisses from Mama," Joey Feek captioned a photo collage she shared to Facebook. "Good night little one, today you are 22 months old."

Joey Feek, 40, has been battling cervical cancer and, until recently, was bedridden in hospice care. On Sunday, however, her husband and singing partner, Rory, shared the news that she was out of bed and walking.

"I guess the power-of-the-will is much stronger than the power of fear," he wrote on his blog, “This Life I Live.”

"Honestly, I think Joey just got tired of listening to life going on in the rooms outside of her bedroom and tired of wondering what it would be like to be part of it."
