April 2, 2014 -- Last year was a big one for Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting: Not only did she start a whirlwind relationship with her now-husband, Ryan Sweeting, but she also dated "Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill for a few days.

That relationship, she said, was the one that attracted the most attention.

"I had no one following me until I met Superman," the "Big Bang Theory" star told Cosmopolitan magazine. "I've been in this business for 20 years, and my whole life, I could go anywhere, do anything. There had not been one paparazzi photo of me until like several months ago. The recognition was crazy."

However, after their split, she met Sweeting, who changed the course of the 28-year-old actress's life. Just a few months after they began dating, they announced their engagement.

"I admit it happened fast, but that's who I am," she said. "When we met, I knew he was the one."

Just a few months after she accepted his proposal, Cuoco-Sweeting and Sweeting said "I do" in a lavish wedding on New Year's Eve.

"I felt like a rock star and a badass. What was amazing in that room, it was so full of love," she said of the nuptials. "It was like nothing I'd ever been to before, and it was exactly what we wanted it to be. It was the eighth wonder of the world, the greatest wedding of all time."

In attendance? Cuoco-Sweeting's TV co-star (and ex-boyfriend), Johnny Galecki. That's proof, she said, that their split was amicable.

"It took a minute, a bit of awkwardness. By the grace of God, we became best buddies and moved on in such an elegant way," she said. "[He's] one of my closest friends. He was in the front row at my wedding, with a huge smile on his face."
