— -- Katy Perry's Super Bowl XLIX halftime show had a little bit of everything -- a large lion, dancing life-sized beach balls, a few costume changes and a surprise performance from Missy Elliott.
Perry opened the show riding a huge lion while singing her hit-song "Roar."
Guitarist Lenny Kravitz joined the pop star for "I Kissed a Girl."
When Perry launched into "Teenage Dream," dancing beach balls, surfboards, sharks and even palm trees joined her on stage.
Then Missy Elliott had a surprise cameo and sang, "Get Ur Freak on"
Perry finished the show with an explosive rendition of "Firework" and it was explosive -- with plenty of fireworks taking flight outside the stadium.
The performance came to a crescendo when Perry boarded a shooting star stand that took her above the field and around the University of Phoenix Stadium.
