— -- Kim Kardashian showed off a new short haircut in a photo posted on her Instagram Friday night.

The reality star accompanied the photo with a simple caption: “I cut my hair short today.”

The reality star’s long black hair has been a trademark for years, but she has experimented in the past. She dyed her hair blonde in 2009 and 2012.
