— -- Kanye West turned 38 Monday and the rapper's wife, Kim Kardashian, gave him a surprise for the ages.
The reality star and mother of West's child, North, posted pics from the lavish night, including one of the Grammy winner blindfolded on the way to his "surprise."
The couple had the Staples Center in Los Angeles to themselves and posed for pictures with the Lakers cheerleaders.
"Thank you Staples Center for the most amazing birthday party for Kanye!" Kardashian wrote.
Kanye was also treated to a celebrity basketball game, "WEST VS EAST," according to Kim. Get what she did there? If you look closely, you can see John Legend and Justin Bieber in attendance.
Bieber, himself, posted a photo captioned, "#happybirthdaykanye #howlongyouball #allday #staplescenter #mvp #22points."
Kardashian also posted a special throwback image of Kanye from when he was a kid.
