Marnie Actress Kimberly J. Brown Returning to ‘Halloweentown’
It's a witch come true! See video of the big announcement.
— -- Attention "Halloweentown" fans: Call Benny the skeleton-slash-cab-driver, buckle up and get ready to "Return to Halloweentown."
Kimberly J. Brown, the actress who played Marnie Cromwell in Disney Channel’s "Halloweentown," "Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge," and "Halloweentown High" is set to return to the place that started it all.
Brown announced on Youtube earlier this week that she’ll be lighting the giant jack-o-lantern at the “Spirit of Halloweentown” festival held in St. Helen’s, Oregon this year. (Fans will remember that she lit the giant jack-o-lantern in the movies also!)
The original movie was filmed in St. Helen’s back in 1998 and now hosts a festival in honor of the movie every year.
In the video, Brown said, “On October 10th, I’m going to dust off the old broom, pull out my witch’s cloak and fly on up to Halloweentown and kick off the festivities for the month.”
Check out Brown make the full announcement below. No word yet on whether the world’s most supernatural super-grandma Aggie Cromwell (Debbie Reynolds) will attend.
And don’t worry if you can’t make the trip to Halloweentown yourself: Brown promised to document her entire eerie experience on social media.
