— -- As part of the actor's promotional tour for his new movie, "Saving Christmas," Kirk Cameron decided he wanted to do something most aspiring actors do, but he had skipped because of his instant success and fame: serve food.

He had a Chick-fil-A drive-thru takeover in South Carolina, where the actor, 44, even decided to prank a couple customers.

"I've always wanted to be a waiter. I love Chick-fil-A. Heck, let's have some fun at the drive-thru. It's my pleasure!!" the former "Growing Pains" star wrote on his Facebook page.

In the video, he grills an older woman about ordering from the children's menu and tells another man they had run out of chicken.

"Are you trying to be funny?" a woman angrily asks when Cameron asks her age.

Yes, he was, and mission accomplished!

Check it out.
