Kristen Bell gives update on her situation in Florida: 'We're making the most of a crazy situation'
The actress talks to Jimmy Kimmel from the hotel where she waited out Irma.
— -- Kristen Bell has been making the most of her time sheltering at an Orlando hotel to wait out Hurricane Irma.
The "Frozen" actress gave an update on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Monday night from the hotel where she, two groups of nursing home residents and others have been staying since before the hurricane hit Florida.
"We're all safe and sound here," Bell, 37, told Kimmel via satellite. "We're making the most of a crazy situation."
Bell credited Gary, one of the employees of the Walt Disney World's Swan and Dolphin Resort, where they were staying, for keeping everyone comfortable.
"Gary's been running the roost over here, and Gary is exhausted because he's been running toilet paper to people's rooms at 2 in the morning, handing out water -- anything you need! It's so full service here!" she remarked.
Bell then introduced John, a World War II veteran who became an internet sensation after Bell posted a video of him serenading her.
"This is my side piece here in Orlando, Jimmy," the actress joked.
When Kimmel asked John how he was doing, he replied, "I'm swarmed under with beautiful women, beautiful women! I'll never be the same."
Bell then panned the camera across the room where dozens of people had gathered.
"We have so many people, and it's not just seniors here!" Kristen said as the crowd cheered. "It's a big party."
Bell, who was in Orlando filming a movie when Irma hit, has been helping entertain her fellow stranded guests with a sing-a-long, Bingo, wheelchair races and more. She also got hotel rooms for her "Frozen" co-star Josh Gad's stranded family members.
