Among the nods, James is in the running for Best Male Athlete, Best Championship Performance, Best Game and Best Play.

James led the Cavs to a historic win over the Golden State Warriors after initially trailing 3-1 early in the series. The Cavs are now the first team in NBA history to do that in the finals.

The full list of noms is now live on ESPN.com.

The likes of Novak Djokovic, Sidney Crosby, Bryce Harper and Tom Brady are all up for nominations in their respective categories.

The ESPYS, hosted by wrestling great John Cena, are set to air July 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
