Mariah Carey has recovered from a respiratory infection
The singer had been forced to cancel tour dates.
— -- Mariah Carey got her health back for the holidays.
The singer announced Thursday that she will resume her "All I Want for Christmas Is You" tour after a respiratory infection forced her to postpone it.
Carey is set to start the tour in New York City on Saturday.
"Feeling better and back at work!" she tweeted. "Looking forward to seeing you today at the World AIDS Day 2017 concert and then starting the Christmas tour festivities!”
Carey, 47, told her fans last month that she'd been battling the flu when she was struck with "a lovely upper respiratory infection." A week later, on Thanksgiving, she said that she hadn't recovered yet.
"Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!! I'm still under the weather but grateful to be able to celebrate with family and friends," she wrote on social media.
