— -- Megan Fox has filed for divorce from Brian Austin Green, a representative for the Superior Court of Los Angeles confirmed to ABC News.
The actress, who wed the actor in 2010 after six years of dating, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The date of separation was listed as June 15.
Fox, 29, and Green, 42, have two children together, Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 1. Last year, the "Ninja Turtles" actress told Cosmopolitan that she and the former "90210" star "have done everything you can do to ruin a relationship and we still love each other."
"A big part is that we respect each other as parents. I feel sorry for women who have babies with men only to find out their husbands aren't helpful, because what you go through as a woman is so incredibly difficult. He's willing to make sacrifices to keep us all happy," she added.
"When he sees I'm getting overwhelmed, he'll say, 'I have both of them. Go take a nap.' That will keep me married to him forever. But I don't know anything about keeping the sex life going!"
