Why Miranda Kerr Has a Nanny Stay With Flynn During His Time with Orlando Bloom
However, the model said she's always alone with the three-year-old.
— -- Miranda Kerr called her son with ex-husband Orlando Bloom "my number one priority."
That's why, she said, she makes sure a nanny stays with 3-year-old Flynn while he's spending time with his actor dad.
"The nanny is with him all the time when he is with Orlando; don’t get me wrong, he’s a great dad, it’s just me being a protective mother and wanting to make sure all his needs are met," she told the Sunday Times of London. "I want to keep Flynn’s routine. Orlando’s fine with it. In fact, he likes it, it’s less pressure."
However, things are different with Kerr, 31. She explained that while the nanny does watch the toddler while she's working, she sends her home as soon as she's finished.
"When I get home she leaves and I switch my phone off," Kerr explained. "My son is an absolute joy. ... My number one priority."
As for rumors that she's moved on from Bloom and dating other people, the super model said absolutely not. Tabloid reports to the contrary, she said, are false.
"I am single," she said "The people that are important to me know the truth, and that is all."
