Morgan Freeman Mourns 'Tragic and Senseless' Death of Step-Granddaughter

— -- Morgan Freeman is mourning the death of his granddaughter, who was reportedly stabbed to death in New York City this morning.
The actor said in a Facebook post:
E'Dena Hines, 33, was found lying on a street near her apartment, with several stab wounds to her chest, according to the New York Police Department.
A 30-year-old man was taken into custody, but had not been charged as of late this afternoon, according to the NYPD.
Police are investigating.
Hines was an actress who had appeared in "Moll Flanders" and "5 Flights Up," and reportedly had recently finished filming "Landing Up," which was scheduled for release in 2016.
