Neil Patrick Harris Pens Touching Tribute to Late Grandma

— -- Neil Patrick Harris shared more than just his name with his grandmother, "We shared a birthday," he wrote in a touching tribute to her after her death last week on Christmas day.

Harris, 41, posted a picture of his grandma to Instagram after funeral services were held on Tuesday.

"My grandma passed away on Thursday night, services are today. Martha Jeanne Harris was 92, lived a long, lovely life. We shared a birthday, 6/15. She'll be missed," he wrote, next to a picture from the service titled "In Loving Memory."

This loss comes after a holiday season filled with family for Harris.

Just last week, Harris posted an adorable picture of his twins, Gideon and Harper, 4, eating Christmas Eve dinner.

"Christmas Eve dinner at Babbo. Traditional Feast of the Seven Fishes. Delicious! Gideon and Harper are in holiday heaven. Thanks, Mario. #joy," he wrote.

Harris is set to host the 87th annual Academy Awards on Feb. 22.
