— -- Nicki Minaj was busy Sunday.
Minaj hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow, Scotland. She also debuted a new song – “Bed of Lies” with Skylar Grey – played some mini-golf, and changed outfits lots of times, from flowing, ruffled dresses …
… to optical-illusion get-ups …
… to designs that shimmered and sparkled.
Minaj, who took home the award for best hip-hop artist, also performed a snipped of the 1993 Proclaimers hit, “500 Miles.”
Here are some other standouts from Sunday’s show:
Grande was named best female artist and also took the best-single prize for “Problem.” But her performance of “Break Free” stood out, with her wearing a white mini-dress reminiscent of the animated TV show “The Jetsons.”
“The Hoff” is popular in Europe, and he showed his Scottish pride by wearing a kilt, drawing a rousing cheer.
Ozzy was honored with the Global Icon award. The honor was presented by Slash, who said of Osbourne, “This is a guy who does not know how to do ordinary.”
