Minaj, who took home the award for best hip-hop artist, also performed a snipped of the 1993 Proclaimers hit, “500 Miles.”

Ariana Grande
Grande was named best female artist and also took the best-single prize for “Problem.” But her performance of “Break Free” stood out, with her wearing a white mini-dress reminiscent of the animated TV show “The Jetsons.”

David Hasselhoff
“The Hoff” is popular in Europe, and he showed his Scottish pride by wearing a kilt, drawing a rousing cheer.

Ozzy Osbourne
Ozzy was honored with the Global Icon award. The honor was presented by Slash, who said of Osbourne, “This is a guy who does not know how to do ordinary.”
