— -- Music icon Quincy Jones is "fine" after being taken to a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday night for suffering "some shortness of breath."

His rep, Arnold Robinson, told ABC News: "Not chest pains. Quincy is fine. He had some shortness of breath and in an abundance of caution he went in for observation. He is fine though."

The famed Producer and music genius, 82, who worked alongside the likes of Michael Jackson and Ray Charles, also tweeted about his condition.

"Had a little shortness of breath, but all is good. Still much to do. God Bless," he wrote.

Earlier this month, Jones was still at it, sitting down with Dr. Dre to talk music on the rapper's show, "The Pharmacy."
