How 'Rizzoli & Isles' Handled the Death of Lee Thompson Young

— -- "Rizzoli & Isles" had its season 5 premiere Tuesday night, which was also the first episode to deal with last year's death of cast member Lee Thompson Young.

Young was found dead in his apartment last August of an apparent suicide. He was 29.

On the show, Young's character, Frost, was said to be on a trip visiting his mother and would be back the next day, according to E! News.

At the end of the episode, Bruce McGill's character gets a call that states Young's character has been in an accident on his way back from his mother's place.

Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander meet at the scene of the accident and Frost has already died.

There is a planned tribute for Young's character on next week's episode.
