When Rosie Perez Will Return to 'The View'

— -- Rosie Perez is returning to "The View" next week.

The actress will make her return Tuesday alongside guests Martin Short and "Fresh Off the Boat" stars Randall Park and Hudson Yang, ABC announced.

Perez took a break from her chair to rehearse for Larry David's forthcoming Broadway play, "Fish in the Dark," which begins with previews in early February. It officially opens the following month.

Another "View" co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, was forced to take time off recently, too.

The actress took a few weeks off to recover from a back injury. She returned earlier this month.

"I'm stronger than ever," she said.
