Russell Brand Says of Katy Perry, 'I Don't Know Who That Is'
He talked with kids about Thanksgiving and one said she'd invite the actor's ex.
— -- In a sweet sketch for "Live with Kelly and Michael," Russell Brand sat down with children to discuss the meaning of Thanksgiving.
However, at one point, when polling the group as to who they'd invite to their holiday dinner, one suggested his ex-wife, Katy Perry.
"Katy Perry?" he asked. "I don't know who that is!"
Throughout the clip (above), which elicited plenty of laughs from the audience, Brand asked the group the meaning of the holiday, what noise a turkey makes, and who invented Thanksgiving. The results are pretty funny -- and informative, according to the actor.
"Thanks to these Americans, I, Russell Brand, an Englishman, and a hurtful mention of my ex-wife, I, Russell Brand have a much better understanding of Thanksgiving, the tradition," he said.
