— -- Sarah Jessica Parker celebrated her birthday by carrying on her tradition of stopping by The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
The "Sex and the City" actress, who turned 51 on Friday, documented her special day by posting tons of photos to Instagram.
"Thank you @themuseumofmodernart. My annual birthday pilgrimage this year was sublime," she wrote as the caption to one photo, adding that it's her "favorite tradition."

The actress has 6-year-old twin daughters Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell, and a 13-year-old son James Wilkie with husband Matthew Broderick.
"How did I do so much today? Including this," she marveled in another caption. "Like 1 daughter, like mother. Thank you Gina. And for the lentil soup."
Parker also showed off multiple gifts from friends, such as "beautiful, elegant and chic" flowers along with a Rice Krispie treat cake.
Parker also thanked her husband, Broderick, 54, by posting a black and white photo of them kissing with the caption, "A year ago on my birthday. And nothing has changed. Thanks husband for a perfect day."
