How Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. Are Raising Independent Kids
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star talks parenting with her husband of 13 years.
— -- Married 13 years, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are equal partners when it comes to raising their two children.
The "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star told E! News that she and her hubby "split everything pretty fairly."
"I mean, I think that that's how you have to raise children today, as you want them to be independent and want them to see in our society that there is no difference between men and women and go from there," Gellar said.
Gellar, 38, and Prinze, 39, met on the set of the '90s thriller "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and are parents to daughter Charlotte, 5, and son Rocky, 2.
In addition to sharing parenting duties, they are working together on the animated series "Star Wars Rebels" on Disney XD. Gellar recently joined the cast, which includes David Oyelowo, Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar and Taylor Gray.
