Simon and Garfunkel Reunion 'Out of the Question' for Paul
"We don't even talk," Simon said.
— -- If you’re hoping to see a Simon & Garfunkel reunion anytime soon, you may be waiting a long time.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Paul Simon shut down any rumors that the duo would be getting back together for a reunion performance, and revealed that he and Art Garfunkel have lost touch over the years.
"No, out of the question," Simon said when asked about a possible Simon & Garfunkel reunion. "We don't even talk."
Simon and Garfunkel, both 74, formed their U.S. folk rock duo in 1957, and generated hits throughout the ‘60s such as "Sounds of Silence," and "Bridge Over Troubled Water."
The duo first broke up in 1970 at the height of their fame.
While the singers have sporadically reunited in the past, Simon and Garfunkel's relationship has been strained since their falling out many years ago.
