August 14 -- Beyond Borders, a 4-year-old movie project that's seen more cast changes than daredevil Evel Knievel (ba dump bump), is reportedly back on track for a December start.

Tomb Raider hottie Angelina Jolie is still attached to play the female lead in the film, which is about international amnesty workers a sort of Out of Africa-meets-Outbreak, from the sound of it.

Oliver Stone was previously set to direct but left over budgetary and creative differences, according to Variety. Poised to take over for the exited auteur is Martin Campbell, whose resume includes Vertical Limit, The Mask of Zorro, and GoldenEye.

The film is still minus a leading man, however, after Kevin Costner and Ralph Fiennes both dropped out.

Meg Ryan was briefly mentioned for the lead, as was Catherine Zeta-Jones, who backed out due to her pregnancy. Instead, Zeta-Jones ended up filming the Oscar-winning Traffic, which allowed her to shoot while pregnant.
