WB's Nikki Cox Engaged to Bobcat

February 12 -- True love is apparently blind. The buxom hostess of the WB's perky Nikki show, 22-year-old Nikki Cox, is engaged to slim-haired, vocally challenged comedian Bobcat Goldthwait.

The lovebirds have not yet set a wedding date; may we suggest April 1? The odd couple began dating in 1998, after they met on the set of their short-lived WB laffer, Unhappily Ever After.

Goldthwait, who is 16 years older than his bride-to-be, is a "really shy, sweet-natured fellow," Cox told The Associated Press. "It's not like he's so boisterous and outgoing."

Cox, whose spandex TV outfits are often about the size of Band-Aids, may have to go a tad more traditional for the ceremony — unless, of course, it's in Las Vegas.

"I would be completely ignorant to act like I'm [on TV] because I'm so … talented," she confessed to the AP. "I know it's because I fit the clothes."
