Calista Flockhart Adopts Baby
Jan. 11 -- Calista Flockhart says she'ssettling down with a much, much younger man.
The Ally McBeal actress announced today that she hasadopted a baby boy. The name of the baby was not released.
"I have always wanted to adopt a child and I am overjoyed thatI have been blessed with a beautiful and healthy son," Flockhartsaid. "I'm completely enchanted and awe-struck."
The 36-year-old actress added that she still hopes to give birthsomeday and may adopt another child.
Because of her hectic schedule, the new single mom said her sonwill spend a lot of time on the set of her Emmy-winning Fox comedy.
"I feel extremely fortunate and grateful that I work for such asupportive company that offers a wonderful child-care facility,enabling me to spend a lot of time with my son while I'm working,"she said.
