Seinfeld's Wife Has Baby Girl

Nov. 7 -- It's a “festivus” occasion for comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his wife, Jessica Sklar, who welcomed their first child into the world today.

Sascha Seinfeld was born at an undisclosed New York hospital,where “both parents and baby are doing great,” said ElizabethClark, a spokeswoman for the comedian.

Seinfeld, 46, and Sklar, a 29-year-old former publicist, were married inDecember.

It is the first child for both.

Looks like Seinfeld pal Regis Philbin is out of luck — Philbin broke the baby news back in April on his morning show, Live With Regis and Kathie Lee. The host had jokingly hoped that if the baby was a boy, the couple would name him Regis.
