'Flip or Flop' Star on Separation: 'It's Been a Crazy Few Days'

— -- Tarek El Moussa is spending time with his daughter, Taylor, in the aftermath of the announcement that he and his wife and "Flip or Flop" co-host, Christina El Moussa, are separated.
On Wednesday evening, Tarek El Moussa shared on Instagram a photo of him with Taylor, 6, calling her "the love of my life."
"It's been a #crazy few days but we #love our kids soooo #much!!" he wrote. "My #heart and #soul"
Tarek and Christina El Moussa announced earlier this week that they were taking time apart to "re-evaluate the future of our marriage." In addition to their daughter, they have a 1-year-old son, Brayden.
"During this process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be," the El Moussas said Monday. "We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively and plan to continue our professional life together.”
Separately, a representative for HGTV told ABC News in a statement that the network "is currently airing episodes of 'Flip or Flop,' and the series will continue production as scheduled.”
